The manufacturing process runs from mold preparation to final inspection, packing and dispatch.
Molds and components are prepared and checked before lens forming.
Lens blanks are formed by casting or injection molding, depending on the material.
For cast-resin lenses, filled molds undergo thermal curing before demolding and cleaning.
Lens surfaces are cleaned after forming to remove residues before coating.
Where specified, a material-matched hard lacquer is applied and cured to improve scratch resistance and prepare the lens for subsequent coating.
Anti-reflective and other functional coatings are applied to the ordered specification.
Finished lenses are inspected against the order specifications before packing.
Lenses are packed to the order requirements.
Finished orders are prepared for shipment after inspection and packing.
