Production

Molds and related components are prepared and checked for the selected material and production route before forming begins.

Depending on the material route, lens blanks are formed by casting or injection molding to the confirmed specification.

For applicable cast-resin routes, filled mold assemblies undergo a controlled thermal cycle to polymerize and harden the lens material before demolding and cleaning.

After demolding or forming, lens surfaces are cleaned to remove residues and prepare them for the specified coating route.

Where specified, a material-matched hard lacquer is applied and cured to improve scratch resistance and prepare the lens for subsequent coating.

Where specified, anti-reflective and other functional layers are deposited according to the confirmed coating configuration.

Finished lenses are checked against the confirmed quality and order requirements before release to packing.

Accepted lenses are packed according to the confirmed order and presentation requirements.

Finished orders are organized for the agreed shipment route after inspection and packing.
